The Dictionary defines the word Universe as a “set of created things”; things created and arranged to be functional. This applies to human beings, since each of us is a UNIVERSE, a set of created elements, composed of 1) a physical body that integrates atoms, cells, and organs with functional connections of all kinds; 2) an emotional body, not dense, something subtle but real, that expresses itself and lives intensely; 3) a mental body or body of ideas and thoughts. We can experience how this multiple universe manifests itself in our behaviors—moved by emotions, which incite action—which are then synthesized by our spiritual being. All of this has been created, it exists, we are fully aware of it. The awareness is born within us that we exist and are something immense and complex: a Universe.
This interweaving of created, real, and living things in our lives constitutes that Universe called “I,” the “being.” Each self, each being relates to the others under the impulse of nascent emotions and sensations. Ideas, emotions, and thoughts, as well as the sensations perceived by our five senses, interrelate and produce actions. We are conscious, a conscious Universe… So, if we observe ourselves closely, we realize that many of these actions respond to familiar emotions and sensations that generate automatic behavior patterns in us. That’s right: we are reactive, that is, we react to a stimulus in a predetermined way. Now we begin to understand.
On the other hand, this Universe that constitutes my self at all levels is also expressed in the different aspects of daily life: money, hobbies, food… and it also relates to other universes: friends, partners, family, people at work… These interrelationships, therefore, have varied effects on us. They can even affect us at different levels; for example, in the liver, in the digestive system (physical body); in our mood and temper (emotional body); in what we conceive and think and eventually translate into actions (mental body); And, ultimately, all of this causes either friction within us or a state of harmonious communion (spiritual body). Because everything in our being—from our DNA to our most intimate idea—is alive and relates to me and to others: to us. For this reason, we must work, study, set goals, commit to a purpose, grow, and know ourselves; know ourselves, yes, discover ourselves as the great Universe that each of us is, and with this, be able to properly administer and manage this great enterprise that we are, which requires attention, awareness, transformation, and innovation so that it functions in order, so that we live in it fully consciously and are happy every day.
With these brief but profound reflections, we begin our conversations through the blog. From here, we will discover, explore, and recognize that Universe. We will look closely and zoom in to identify everything we are and choose to be, to understand our emotions (another universe: the universe of emotions), and to also understand what we generate and how we participate with our presence in that sum of universes. Something complex but achievable. This is my invitation. Are you up for the journey? Will you join me?
